Working Principle and Advantages of Vacuum Worktable
1.Working Principle
| The vacuum worktable uses a fan to pump out air from the table’s inner space and create negative pressure. There are many small holes on the table surface. When a metal sheet covers these holes, air pressure will press the workpiece tightly on the table. This fixes the workpiece without any clamps. The whole system includes a vacuum fan, air storage chamber, perforated table and pressure control valve. Users can adjust the suction force according to the size and thickness of workpieces. | ![]() |

2. Applicable Scenarios
1). Fits all metal materials
This worktable is not limited to magnetic metals. It can firmly fix stainless steel, aluminum, copper and galvanized sheets. It is very suitable for factories that process different kinds of metal materials.
2). Perfect for ultra-thin to thick metal plates
It is highly suitable for 0.6mm–110mm metal plates. Evenly distributed vacuum suction keeps metal plates completely flat during grinding, avoiding edge warping, shaking and position deviation. It ensures consistent deburring quality and smooth surface finishing.
3). Good for large whole sheets
Large-size metal plates can be fixed entirely on the table without cutting or segmented feeding. It greatly improves the efficiency of deburring and edge rounding for big workpieces.
3. Process Advantages of Adjustable Suction
The suction strength can be adjusted freely. For thick and hard stainless steel plates, strong suction locks the workpiece firmly to resist the grinding force of the abrasive belt.

For thin aluminum sheets and soft metals, weak suction is adopted. It can prevent workpieces from moving, and avoid sheet deformation caused by excessive pressure. It balances processing stability and workpiece precision, meeting various fine machining requirements.
